Chalcocite - Bouismas Mine - Bouismas - Bou Azzer Distr. - Tazenakht - Ouarzazate Prov. - Drâa-Tafilalet Region - Morocco (#:GM18066)

Several dark grey colored crystals of chalcocite are in good evidence all around this specimen: they have metallic reflections too. Some of them have a perfect shape but not all: in anycase it's an high quality specimen for this specie. Big crystals are not common ! It was etched to show the chalcocite crystals from the bulky calcite. From a found in Morocco of some years ago.
